Short summary
An autonomous launch and recovery (LAR) system is essential for the deployment and retrieval of uncrewed surface vehicles (USVs). Traditional crane-like LAR systems are typically designed to handle only the deployment and recovery of a single USV. In this paper, we propose a novel crane-like LAR system for multiple USVs, which includes the mechanism design, control strategy, and experimental validation. This research provides a reliable and innovative solution for the LAR of multiple USVs.
